Owned and Operated by Rich Butler, the co-founder of The Ontario Prospects, Butler Prospects and Stouffville Elite. Rich is known to be the innovator of Practice Plans, Drills and Player Development Programs, and has been instrumental in leading the way in the expansion of other travel programs in Ontario for over two decades.
Rich’s program has won numerous championships within the league, both in Canada and the USA and has assisted hundreds of players achieve scholarships and pro contracts. His impressive 11yr Pro Baseball and 3yr MLB (Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Seattle Mariners & Texas Rangers) career is evident in his renown reputation across North America.

The ONTARIO DEVIL RAYS is a Fergie Jenkins Showcase League team based out of Bowmanville Ontario. We are committed to the development of the complete player, providing them with the tools to promote their talents to reach the next level.
Our fall development program offers individual and team specific training, strength and conditioning as well as indoor training plus gym workouts.
We are proud to offer our players the chance to play in a high level year round program providing hours of valuable development time.

TEAM PHILOSOPHY
The ONTARIO DEVIL RAYS BASEBALL CLUB program is designed to offer a higher level of competition for motivated baseball players who are committed to improving their skills in a team focused environment.
Our goal is to train players hard throughout the year and work towards being the strongest, most skilled players they can be. We believe development, both physical & mental, are the most important aspects as we strive for excellence. Adversity is part of the game and how you overcome it will determine if you advance to the next level, or obtain college or university scholarships. The team will work hard to win games but winning will never be as important as teamwork and good sportsmanship.
During the season, play time will be shared amongst all players. Each player will be trained, and their skills developed at multiple positions. Hard work ethic, respect and 100% focus will be demanded at ALL practices and games. As players progress through the ONTARIO DEVIL RAYS BASEBALL PROGRAM they will have the skills, experience & confidence required to play successfully and endure the grind that higher level, college or professional level baseball requires.
DEVIL RAYS PRIVATE COMBINE TRAINING PROGRAM
Our Private Combine Training Program supports the development on and off the field. This Program provides the athlete Baseball Instruction including Hitting, Pitching, Fielding and Base-Running. Also included is an Agility, Core Strength and Weight training Program, a valuable resource for the complete athlete.
